Lauren completed her law degree at Queen’s University. While at law school, Lauren earned awards for having the highest standing in her class. She also found her passion for advocacy while working with Queen’s Law’s clinical programs. Following her studies, Lauren completed her articles with a full-service law firm in Kingston, Ontario.
Prior to joining Vice & Hunter, Lauren practiced with a boutique law firm specializing in the areas of labour, employment and human rights law. She has represented clients at various levels of court as well as before administrative bodies. Lauren is a passionate advocate for her clients and strives to ensure they feel supported while navigating the complex, and often intimidating, legal process.
Lauren is honoured to be a member of the Youville Centre’s Board of Directors. She currently holds the elected position of Secretary and also serves as the Chair of the Governance Committee. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys hiking on the many trails in the Ottawa area, travelling whenever she gets the chance and spending time at her family cottage in the Kawartha Lakes.
