Andrew Donaldson joined Vice & Hunter LLP in 2019 as a summer student and has grown with the firm to become a skilled Associate Lawyer. He represents clients at multiple levels of court and before various administrative tribunals, building a strong civil litigation practice with a particular focus on municipal law, commercial litigation, and construction disputes.
Having grown up in Stittsville, Andrew possesses deep local knowledge and insight, making him well-suited to assist municipal, corporate, and individual clients with their legal needs. His background in municipal government provides a unique perspective on the challenges faced by clients navigating complex local regulations and development issues.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Ottawa in 2020, where he served as Vice-President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and represented the university at the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada. Prior to law school, he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Active in his community, Andrew currently serves as a Trustee and member of the Hockey Committee at Stanstead College, a private preparatory school in Quebec and his alma mater.
