J.F. Lalonde practices employment law, personal injury, and civil litigation. J.F. is especially proficient in the area of employment law with his substantial experience representing both employees and employers involving terminations, severance packages, employment standards, and human rights issues.
J.F. has also successfully litigated and arbitrated commercial, insurance, and construction disputes.
Before becoming a lawyer, J.F. attended the University of Ottawa for his undergraduate studies and graduated from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2004. While pursuing his law degree, he worked as a human resource manager for a telecom company in Ottawa.
J.F. is fluently bilingual and provides legal services in both French and English. He teaches employment law as part of the Paralegal Program at La Cité Collégiale, a local college of applied arts and technology. He is also an elected director on the board of his condominium in Ottawa since 2009. He is currently the Vice-President.
